D1 bound Vietnamese American Andre Henry (andrehenry02) led St. Francis (La Canada Flintridge, CA) to one of their most memorable seasons in program history. The 6’3’’ combo guard carried the Golden Knights to a CIF DII Southern Regional Championship by averaging 24.7 PPG, 11.3 RPG, and 4.2 BPG. Henry was the Mission League Co-MVP, the Star News Player of the Year, a CIF-SS DII First Team selection, and the Cal Hi Sports DII State Player of the Year! 
For context of the magnitude of the Cal Hi Sports DII Player of Year award, past recipients include Demar DeRozan (2008), Tyler Johnson (2010), Aaron Gordon (2012, 2013), TJ Leaf (2015), and Shareef O'Neal (2018). As the 34th ranked recruit in California, he is likely the second highest ranked Asian American hooper of the 2020 class behind Filipino American Jalen Green. The 3-star recruit will be headed down to UC Irvine next season to join the two-time defending Big West Conference champions. 
Though Henry and the Golden Knights magical run was halted right before their state championship game due to COVID-19, Fred Robledo of the San Gabriel Valley Tribune claimed that “Henry will go down as the best player in St. Francis history.” Stay tuned into his journey as he embarks on his collegiate journey next season!
