Yuuki Okubo (_ywk1) has been the most talked about Asian American HS hooper of this generation. A viral sensation since his freshman year, Yuuki has proved that his race and size don’t have to dictate his success in basketball. Throughout his four years as Crossroads’ starting point guard, he has played with and against the best players in the country. 
As the veteran leader of the team in his final season, he was not just the team’s leading facilitator, but also right at the top in points and steals. He was a Gold Coast First Team All League selection (7 out of the 11 selections are 4🌟, 5🌟 and/or D1 signees). He also was the Hoophall West Classic MVP, took down Josh Christopher and Mayfair, and swept arch rival Brentwood. 
Yuuki is still undecided as to where he will play his college ball, but I promise you his hoops career isn’t going away anytime soon!
