6'1'' senior Anthony Yu (official.anthonyyu) has blossomed into one of the most prolific and most talked about Asian American hoopers on the West Coast! His rise to fame came when simplyy_bball released an archived video of 8th grade Anthony dropping a 40 piece on then #1 ranked player kyreewalker1. 
But throughout his HS career, Anthony proved that he’s so much more than a viral sensation. He began his high school career playing for Saint Joseph Notre Dame in Alameda where he won the NCS D4 Championship as part of one of the top teams in the state (30-2). He transferred to Palo Alto HS, Jeremy Lin's alma mater, for his junior season. There he led Palo Alto to a CCS Division I championship and a Norcal semifinal appearance. For his senior year campaign, Anthony made the decision to take a big leap just like Lamelo Ball and Rocket Watts had done just a year prior, Anthony took his talents to Geneva, Ohio to play for Spire Academy. In a team loaded with Division I talent, Anthony made his mark at the basketball powerhouse as he filled in the hole that melo and rocket1k left as the starting point guard for the HS squad and an integral part of the post grad team. 
Anthony has yet to decide where he will play at the collegiate level but has the desire to play high level college hoops when next season comes around!
