No disrespect to Paul Goldschmidt as he is worthy of the award, however, can someone please explain how a guy that made fewer errors and more spectacular plays at first (while having to catch absolute rockets from Willson Contreras) doesn’t win the award? I don’t get it. On top of that, all the would-be errors he has saved his infielders this year.
