Did you get an orchid for Valentine’s? Vibrant in color and elegant in style, orchid plants are long-lasting and low maintenance! Keep yours beautiful with these helpful tips:
• Orchids see light from above, not sideways, so they must be positioned under the light source.
• Hold the orchid container over a sink and water thoroughly so that moisture drips out of the bottom of the pot. Most orchids can nearly dry to the bottom of the pot between watering.
• Every month you can fertilize your orchid with an orchid fertilizer.
• The only grooming needed is the removal of spent blooms and any dead material. Make sure the spike has dried before you remove it.
