1. Light level is the most important. Know how much light your plant will need (and don't be afraid to ask our in-store experts if you aren't sure!) 2. Watch the water. Overwatering is the most common reason for early plant demise.

3. Start off easy. Pick a plant that's great for beginners. We recommend the ZZ, sansevieria, or pothos.
