After a combined 60+ years in sports medicine your little black book becomes quite a big black book.

Contacts can be radiologists, surgeons, podiatrists, nutritionists and are very often doctors and physiotherapists who have become specialised in certain areas as their career develops. 

With over 20 years’ experience, half of them spent at the highest professional level, Simon Harland is one of Ireland’s most respected and highly regarded physiotherapists. He worked at Arsenal alongside Colin between 2010 and 2014 and forged some good relationships during his time there.

His work with Ulster Rugby,  Arsenal FC, the Ireland Rugby Teams, Irish Athletics, Sailing and Cricket, as well as his role at the Sports Institute of Northern Ireland, tells its own story of a practitioner at the very top of his game. He has travelled the world with teams and has wide ranging experience in all facets of integrated delivery to performance athletes. 

He has been our go-to knowledge on a lot of upper limb issues and recently helped with some in-depth advice around some difficult elbow issues. He currently has a clinic in central Belfast replayclinic and continues to work with elite athletes and also in top-level rugby.

Simon has worked with some of the world’s most respected sports medicine practitioners and allied sports professionals.
