TBT - OK, I’m in “Fanboy” mode here. There is something very special here. Over the years I have collected images of various World Champions wearing their special kit. But when you are also riding a bike trimmed in gold, that’s extra special. One of those rare moments to capture for a sports photographer.

Fourteen years ago, I started my cycling photography adventure by covering local races. Back then I would have never dreamed of covering Team USA at an international event. Fast forward, 15+ National Championships, 3 World Championships and now a Pan American Track Cycling Championships. All the hard work has paid off. The people and athletes I’ve met. The friendships that literally span the globe. All from cycling. I am truly blessed. So yah, I don’t take an image like this lightly. Even if the significance is just between the athlete and me. Cheers!

The Pan American Track Cycling Championships are the continental cycling championships for track cycling held annually for member nations of the Pan American Cycling Confederation (COPACI).
