For years, art historians assumed that David Hammons stopped producing his famed body prints during the 1970s. Now, however, that appears to no longer be true. Last week, Hammons added six body prints to a current survey at the Drawing Center in New York—four from the ’70s, one from the ’90s, and one from 2021. The latest work features Hammons wearing a body mask, making it "a body print for our time," Laura Hoptman, the art space's director, said. Tap the link in bio to read more.⁠
