.
“I always knew I wanted to be an artist but I didn’t always know how to articulate it. One time I saw Carroll Dunham at one of his shows at a gallery when I was maybe 12 or 13 and I definitely thought that was a cool thing to be when I grew up.” - Theodore Darst
.
Theodore Darst lives and works in New York. His work has been shown at the Museum of the Moving Image, New York; The Museum Of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles; and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago.
.
Open Sessions is a two year artist program of interdisciplinary events and exhibitions focused on drawing, organized by Rosario Güiraldes and Lisa Sigal.
