Open Sessions Conversations: Ezra Wube & Tuguldur Yondonjamts

EW: “My art has been influenced by my own migratory experience, from Ethiopia to the United States. This experience has complicated the way I perceive and understand time, place, language, culture, and moral values.” TY: “The elevator mates gather on the opposite side of the car, scared and traumatized…/The vessel rages to push alien green out of my chest./The vessel is not corruptible./The vessel is in the geography.” .

Ezra Wube lives and works in Brooklyn. His work has been shown at the Museum of the Moving Image, Queens; Children's Museum of the Arts, New York; and Casoria Contemporary Art Museum, Naples. .

Tuguldur Yondonjamts lives and works in Brooklyn and Ulaanbaatar. His work has been shown at the Richard Taittinger Gallery, New York; Sculpture Center, Long Island City; and the Mongolian National Modern Art Gallery, Ulaanbaatar. 
Open Sessions is a two year artist program of interdisciplinary events and exhibitions focused on drawing, organized by Rosario Güiraldes and Lisa Sigal.
