Anglo-French artists Alpha and Chris Mason, known collectively as Hipkiss, have been collaborating for three decades on intricate drawings that interweave dystopian narratives with a personal lexicon of symbolic forms. Brett Littman describes the duo’s creative process in the exhibition catalog: “Today the process is very fluid and more like filmmaking where they both act as directors and producers and are always thinking together about the big picture, the texture, the feel, and the limits of the drawings.” #hipkiss hipkissart
