“My work focuses on visual vs. text language, the distinct conventions of each as modes of communication, and the overlaps that inevitably occur between them. I explore the relationship of this composite language to architecture, urban space and the tradition of abstraction.” -Becky Brown 
Becky Brown lives and works in New York. Her work has been shown at Religare Arts Initiative, Delhi; Kunstfabrik, Berlin; and DNA Gallery, Provincetown. Her work has been published in “Arte Fuse”, “Hyperallergic”, and “Artnet”. ~
Open Sessions is a two year artist program of interdisciplinary events and exhibitions focused on drawing, organized by Rosario Güiraldes and Lisa Sigal.
