Start the day in “Judith Bernstein: Cabinet of Horrors”. Slinko, Open Sessions Artist, will present a brief history of protest signs, basics of effective typography, DIY graphic design in civil disobedience and activism as it relates to Judith Bernstein’s text-based and highly graphic style. Bernstein uses President Trump’s own insult-driven, childlike language as a device to communicate her own anger and disapproval of the current administration and its policies. Make your own hand-written and drawn signs!
