drawingcenter's downstairs gallery is #AmySillman's new animated video work "After Metamorphoses," created during her residency at the American Academy of Rome.  Sillman formed the animation with iPad sketches, and later overlaid them with abstract drawings, following the sequence of events in Ovid's famed narrative. Sillman has made a number of collaborations with poets, including Lisa Robertson and Charles Bernstein, among many others. #DrawingCenter #AmySillman #aftermetamorphosis #ovidsmetamorphoses #americanacademyinrome
