Open Sessions 8 is on view in our Lab gallery, Wed-Sun 12-6pm | Thurs 12-8pm. Featuring artists #rubyonyinyechiamanze, #EricRamosGuerrero, #NsengaKnight, #LeiLei, #JamesMercer, #EdwinTorres, and #EzraWube, the show explores real and imagined landscapes, whose fluid borders and disorienting geographies reference issues around migration and complicated topographies of the everyday. 
Lei Lei is a multimedia animation artist living in Beijing, China. Working between graphic design, illustration, short cartoon, graffiti, and music, he explores the mysterious side of historical archives, navigating the factual in contrast to the imagined. His work is playful and has a sense of innocence and humor.
