Richard Pousette-Dart: 1930s, Rashid Johnson: Anxious Men, and Open Sessions 6 are on view through Sunday, December 20. "Pousette-Dart's emphasis on sculpture can be observed in numerous drawings of figures attached to sculptural bases. One example distills Pre-Columbian imagery, utilizing narrow outline filled with water-color in hues that suggest jade, a stone carved by Pousette-Dart during the early 1940s." -from the exhibition catalog essay by Charles H.
