Abdelkader Benchamma depicts the mysterious outer reaches of our astronomical universe in the site-specific drawing "Representation of Dark Matter", 2015. Comprised of ethereal swirling lines in charcoal alongside bold undulations in black ink, the image captures the solar system's explosive cosmic forces and occult celestial bodies. The visual effect yields an immersive constellation that gives form to that which is infinitely large and perpetually transforming.
