This week's #GraduateSpotlight is on Criminology PhD student Kaitlin Fredericks! Kaitlin's research focuses on rethinking success from the perspectives of at-risk youth. She is also the recipient of the SWAAC Student Award in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion! "The most valuable part of my doctoral studies has been the incredible mentorship and support I have received from the faculty. I have been afforded invaluable research opportunities and guidance, and have gained a diverse set of skills from my tenure in the Criminology and Social Justice PhD program that will help me during my doctoral studies and in my future endeavours."
