With more than one‑fifth of the world’s population using them daily, chopsticks have evolved from an ancient eating utensil into a complex cultural symbol. 
On Monday, March 12, the university welcomes Q. Edward Wang, Professor of History at RowanUniversity and author of Chopsticks: A Cultural and Culinary History, to discuss the relationship between this important utensil and Asian cuisine.
