The Volunteer senior has earned the honor for the THIRD time this year as this past weekend, Hooker jump-started the Tennessee offense early, connecting on a 55-yard touchdown pass just 1:27 into the game as the Vols rolled to an impressive 44-6 SEC victory over No. 19 Kentucky. He finished the game completing 19-of-25 passes for 245 yards and three TDs while also running for a score as Tennessee improved to a perfect 8-0 and earned the No. 1 slot in the first College Football Playoff Rankings of 2022!
