August is going to be even more jam-packed with #PVDFest events!! This week has a hefty line up including:

• POSTPONED TO THURSDAY, 8/5 at 7pm - POPs at Roger Williams Park: A TRIBUTE TO THE HUMAN SPIRIT, featuring the riphilharmonic in the Temple to Music! 🎻🎼 
• Thursday, 8/5 at 6pm - pvdlive Fashion Show Vol 2 at the banknewportcc Providence Rink, a show to highlight local designers with a funky vibrant vibe. Also ft. musical acts by Chachi Carvalho and The International Players with DJ Cadillac & a special performance by The Providence Drum Troupe! 👗👠💄
•	Also on Thursday, 8/5 at 7pm - PVDFest Ideas! Happening: Emergence: An Open Air Showcase, hosted by the whatcheerclub and avenuepvd. Local writers will read stories, essays and poetry on the theme of "emergence" against the backdrop of the iconic Adventure Time mural, located at 94 Washington Street. 🖌️🎨✍️

•	Saturday, 8/7 at 12pm - A PVDFest Happening: Matthew Slater presents a Community Jamboree, in Dexter Park, with fabulous entertainment provided by local community groups and churches, choirs, spoken word, dancing performances and a DJ to keep the party going. 🎲 🎙️🎹
•	Also on Saturday, 8/7 at 8pm - PVDCityCouncil x PVDFest: Councilman John Goncalves Ward 1 Movie Night in India Point Park, featuring the movie Aladdin (PG)! 🎥 🎞️🍿
•	Another event on Saturday, 8/7 at 7pm - Join the Friends of Brown Street Park for another PVDFest Happening! They are opening the event with an original Marc Kohler Puppet Show and then they will be showing, The Beethoven Movie (PG). 🎥 🎭
