Kicking off the 2023 Intern Experience with another #InternPerspectives, this time from Consultant Aditya Shenoy!

"I was in the middle of completing my master’s degree in finance when I participated in the internship program. I came across Protiviti at a career fair and instantly hit it off with the people I met. I noticed the firm offered many growth opportunities and had a good reputation.

My bachelor’s degree was in engineering, and my work experience was with a small-sized firm, so I was in the process of shifting my career and moving into a very different type of workplace. I felt that Protiviti heard my voice and understood my passion for finance. Since I was older and had done past internships and jobs already, it was great to find other masters’ students in the program who came from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience as well. I also liked how the older interns could help the younger ones at times.

The Challenge School in Texas was a stress-free environment where I made friendships and knew there were people I could count on. I could tell Protiviti put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring everyone had an opportunity to learn as much as possible about the firm by meeting other consultants, senior leadership, and the CEO himself from day one. During the internship, I felt I could push as much as I wanted to learn more and ask for more responsibilities. I liked discussing my personal goals and interests with my advisors to plan what my career with Protiviti could look like."
