In 2002, our #memberofthemonth ernieelsgolf won theopen with the help of this yardage guide, featuring hand-drawn hole descriptions sketched by his wife, Lizel. Els won his first of two Claret Jugs, and third Major Championship overall, in a sudden-death playoff over Thomas Levet at Muirfield Golf Links. The booklet can be seen on display in our "Tales from the Collection" exhibit at the World Golf Hall of Fame. #artifactspotlight
