#didyouknow World Golf Hall of Fame member Dinah Shore won 8 Emmy Awards, nine gold records,  a Golden Globe, and a Peabody Award? Here she is seen in 1977 with fellow Hall of Famer #bobhope on the set of her show "Dinah!" as he promoted his book "The Road to Hollywood." Shore’s name helped insure network television coverage for women's golf back when it was a precious commodity, which in turn helped her tournament set the curve for purse increases. She had such a lasting effect on the lpga_tour that in 1994 she was posthumously made the only honorary member of its prestigious Hall of Fame. #golf #lpga
