I did a new portrait session for hexgirlsband (they're a local rocknroll/protopunk band from Iowa - like The Stooges meets Talking Heads) the other day because they recently added a band member to the lineup. They've been in the studio recording new material lately, and I've heard some of their rough mixes and I cannnoootttt wait for their summer release. ☀️ Definitely follow along and check it out when it comes out. Also, fun fact: I just started booking their summer tour for them and I can't wait to go on tour with them again this summer. 🤘🏼

I love love love doing simple direct flash ⚡ portraits for press photos, but we also messed around and had some fun with a projector. I'll be sharing those over on my profile alyssaleicht. <3 As cool as the projector ones are, flash always has my heart and this ended up being one of my top three faves from the shoot.
