partition.band, "queer punk rock country-fried in Virginia served in Minneapolis," is one of my current fave Midwestern bands. 
They're an absolute riot to see live and I love photographing their frontperson kingcowboi (they/them) - their glittery purple stage outfits and badass sound never disappoint.
