As we inch closer to the racing season we remember the importance preparation and Lake Forest Sportscars is here to help. We offer a wonderful wide range of Genuine Ferrari racing parts not limited to only exterior upgrades and exhaust systems.This universal Datarace system records high definition video footage and acquires a set of technical parameters that can be used to help improve performance at the track. When playing back the video footage captured automatically by the system, you can choose to view a wide selection of parameters like speed, lap time, chronometer and split times, longitudinal and transverse acceleration and many others - displayed as an overlay. The system is fixed to the vehicle with a suction cup in production models, or with a specific bracket for the roll bar in Challenge versions. A version of the Datarace is also available with an additional dashboard, which can be connected directly to the car's CAN network via the OBD connector which is a GPS based lap timer. The system receives the GPS position, identifies the track start/stop line from a database and automatically starts calculating and displaying lap times. The system can time different types of tracks and events: closed circuit and point-to-point race tracks, hill climbing, regularity rallies and drag racing.
