Campbell Head Wrestling Coach Cary Kolat has completed his coaching staff with the addition of Garett Kiley. Kiley will serve as an Assistant Coach and joins the Fighting Camels from Iowa State.

Kiley is no stranger to coaching. He served as the assistant head wrestling coach at newly founded Concordia University where he helped the program get its start by producing 10 NAIA national qualifiers and two Academic All-Americans. He also served as assistant men’s and women’s wrestling coach at Wayland Baptist University (Tex.) Where he was instrumental in developing a University World silver medalist, a National Champion, 11 All-Americans and two Academic All-Americans.
Most recently, Kiley was the Director of Operations for the Cyclone Wrestling Club. While managing the day-to-day operations of the Cyclones’ Regional Olympic Training Center, Kiley fundraised a full operating budget and continued coaching elite senior level athletes.

Off the mat, Kiley has seen success as he was chosen to attend the 2014 NWCA Leadership Academy and has been recognized by ELSM for several national wrestling marketing and branding awards as part of the “Best of Brand” awards. Kiley also earned his Masters in Coaching & Athletic Administration from Concordia University.

He is married to his wife, Brittany Kiley.
