When we first learned about my dads HLH diagnosis we knew that a transplant could be a likely option. Before he even started chemo to help fight this terrible autoimmune disease my sister told me about Be the Match and how I could become a possible donor to save a life or if my dad needed to use their registry. 

I ordered my swab kit immediately and hopefully will find out soon if I’m a match for him and his particular transplant. While I know there’s so much heaviness in the world right now, I also know the power of good. I’ve witnessed it many times on this journey. 

I contacted be the match to learn more about their mission and what they do. They gave me a special code to share with you, where you can go and register to possibly save a life. How cool is that? If you’re interested in just learning more right now, their mission is really inspiring. If you’re not able to be a donor, they can always use the support.
