You can say anything, you can do anything, but you can’t fake a thought.” I’m Thinking Of Ending Things was a psychological thriller that blew my mind. The book is about a man and his girlfriend who are on their way to visit his parents at their farmhouse in the middle of nowhere. The girlfriend is thinking about ending things and is trying to figure out when to tell her boyfriend. The story leads us on a disturbingly petrifying road trip. I am always on the lookout for a fantastic thriller to read because it is my favorite genre and after reading Gone Girl my standards have been set high. Ian Reid did not disappoint. I honestly was so terrified at certain parts because the story is very unsettling and the sense of dread you feel sticks with you. I ended up reading some parts very fast to skip through the frightening scenes but always had to go back to understand what happened in full detail.
