10 year old Mr. Schultz was adopted in March 2015 by a very young family with four kids...all under the age of five!!! And for Mr. Schultz, this young family is his dream come true. His world revolves entirely around them. 😍

Schutlz's adoptive family originally had difficulty rescuing a senior dog because of their children's young ages. Although at times they felt frustrated, and even paused their search, they stayed persistent and didn't use it as an excuse to give up on adoption. Schultz was adopted from the overcrowded, open-intake miamianimalserv animal shelter. Today, Schultz lives in beautiful Michigan. (And his family even went on to adopt another senior dog, Patty, from the same shelter!) His mom Britany writes, "Schultz is deathly afraid of thunderstorms. He will only calm down surrounded by his kids. He'd be lost without these kids. He runs to be with his pack. It's the same when fireworks go off!

Patty may be blind and deaf but she is still spry.
