gatsby19twenty is soft opening this weekend! This downtown Boise speakeasy is located right off eighth Street, across from freakalleygallery, and it’s astounding what was done in the space in such a short amount of time. (You need to follow their page to see the transformation.) My friend drdustinportela joined me last night to their invite only VIP grand opening. And my goodness this was quite the Fête de l'année.

Dim lightning, crystal chandeliers, copper punched tin ceiling, leather tuffed booths, live music and so much more. From the handmade ice, raw bar and flapper girls, their goal is to transport you back into the late 1920s. Dress code enforced.

Boiler Room Social -  highly exclusive members only club within our bar. Private handmade wooden lockers, stocked with your favorite Bourbon, Whiskey and or Gin. Monthly social hour, private tastings and first to receive invites to special events. Currently waitlisted.

Access
For access to Gatsby, you must have a password. Call (208) 342-4800  and receive the ever changing code that is not to be shared. Once you have a password, walk up 8th and find union alley. Look for the green light / wooden skeleton key sign and knock. Whisper the password and you’re instantly let into our library. One book will open a door that leads you back into time where music, friends and whiskey meant something. 

Cannot wait to go back.
