Saturday starts the 2022 season of Meridian’s popular Concerts on Broadway live music series! Bring some lawn chairs, a picnic basket, and head to the dessert cart for a tree. 

It will feature three Saturday night concerts in @meridiandowntown City Hall’s outdoor plaza, located at 33 E. Broadway Avenue in downtown Meridian. Each of the concerts are FREE to attend and will begin with an opening act at 6:30 pm and the headliners taking the stage at 7:00 pm.

This Saturday come to see @SmoothAvenue - a twist to popular funk, soul and Motown hits. The opening act that evening will be the @tvchildrenstheater Youth Ambassadors singing and dancing to “Biggest Blame Fool” from Seussical the Musical.
 
The High Street Party Band will bring high-energy danceable hits from across the decades on Saturday, September 10. And the Boise-based country rock cover band Soul Patch will headline a concert on Saturday, September 24.
 
Seating is available in the plaza’s built-in amphitheater, but attendees are encouraged to bring folding chairs or lawn blankets. Food and beverages may also be brought in.
 
“We are excited to once again bring this live music entertainment series to downtown Meridian,” said Cassandra Schiffler @meridianarts & Culture Coordinator. “Meridian City Hall’s plaza is an ideal venue for these concerts and we’re really pleased with the variety of local bands who will be headlining this season’s shows.”
