WEPA! We are having an anniversary weekend away in Garden City and, of course, had to make reservations to wepacafeboise. 🤤

Wepa offers traditional Puerto Rican comfort food! Influences from a mix of Spanish, Taino Indian and Afro-Caribbean influences with an emphasis on Puerto Rican spices and herbs. Located next to 35thandclay. Which is where we are staying! 

175 E. 35th St Garden City right next to the Boise River. 

Wepa! Is a Shout of Joy and Celebration in Puerto Rico. Their goals is to have guests shout as they enjoy the fine cuisine of the crown jewel of the Caribbean. Or at least feel it to their soul. I know we did! Such a warm and welcoming place! 

Try all the things! (Especially anything with their garlic sauce! )

I love the Carne Frita - 
Fried Pork Chunks marinated in Puerto Rican Spices and Red Wine Vinegar. Topped with Mojo of Caramelized Onions

Shane ordered the surf and turf special which was absolutely divine. 

For dessert - Piña colada Cheesecake and Guava-infused chocolate mousse. Yum.
