Some women buy their own Christmas gifts and place them under the tree. I book myself a winter staycation at innat500 in Downtown Boise. When people ask me for recommendations for where to stay when they visit Boise I love to direct them here. But don’t forget about a staycation if you’re local! I love everything about this beautiful hotel. From the beverages at check in 🍷 🍺, the valet parking 🚘 , the room service from richardsboise 🍲, the luxurious robes 🧖‍♀️ , the fireplaces 🔥 , the modern furnishings and the fantastic location in the middle of all the Boise action. 

If you have followed me for a while, you know I take a night or two away a few times a year. It is absolutely imperative to my mental health as a mom, wife and business owner. 

And man, it’s a good night sleep. Gah! The beds at Inn at 500 are my favorite. 

I didn’t have anyone to teach me the importance of space from my children in the early days of motherhood. When I realized I was starting to lose my mind, and myself, I made a change. I prioritized my time away. I prioritized my non parenting goals. And I started to recognize myself again. 

I’m pretty happy I give this time to myself after the stress of the holidays. I come home refreshed, rested and totally pampered.
