It’s Meridian Art week!!! This is such a fun week in meridianidaho put together by meridianarts. Runs Wednesday through Saturday. 
Some of the fun to look forward to:

🎨 ART DROP! - Meridian residents have been invited to participate in an "Art Drop" in meridiandowntown! Make a piece of art, (or more than one) attach the form that you can find on our link. Hide your art in the "drop zone" in Downtown Meridian for someone to find. (Basically between Storey Park and Cherry Lane) How fun is that??? Anyone can participate, the more the merrier. Get your family or friends together and make a night of it. On the form you can leave your Instagram handle, so who ever finds your piece can get in touch with you if they'd like. Look around your house and see if you have a painting or drawing or sculpture that you don't mind parting with. (Maybe even some macramé!) We recommend putting it in some kind of plastic bag or something to protect it from the elements. To make it even more fun, tag your pics with your art with hashtag #hellomeridian so we can all join in on the fun! When you find an art piece, make sure to selfie with it!

🎨 The Meridian Art Foundation is hosting their 8th Annual Art Sip on Thursday, September 9 from 6-9pm at Meridian City Hall Plaza. Come enjoy a relaxing night of food, wine, art, & music! Visit MAF's website to learn more about the event and purchase tickets. 

🎨 Meridian's Parks & Recreation is hosting a this BIG BASH on Friday, September 10 at Kleiner Park from 5-8:30pm. With activities for all ages, this will be perfect for a night out with the entire family. Come enjoy live music by the Meridian Symphony Orchestra.

🎨 On Saturday, September 11, artists are specially invited to participate in Meridian's Main Street Market to sell their works and wares. The Market will be open 9am-2pm. 

🎨 Chalk Art competition - Drawing will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11 near Generations Plaza and will wrap at 12:00 p.m. Click link in profile to register.
