Look at this painting I discovered today in Downtown Meridian today during Art Drop! I actually saw about seven things hidden, but I left everything else there for other people to find. 😉 Thanks to the artist - tishajohnsonart!

Again, this week is Meridian Art Week, and there’s tons of fun things going, you can get all the details right now by clicking the link in our profile, or by heading to our stories to hear all the details.  Tomorrow there is a free flower arranging class. 
And everyone is invited to participate in the
CHALK ART COMPETITION!!!!!

 How to participate:
1. Create artwork on your side walk or driveway- Get Creative!
2. Email a picture of your artwork to mac@meridiancity.org. Make sure the picture is clear and they can see every part! To be eligible for consideration, all entries must comply with the Meridian Parks & Recreation Sponsorship Policy. (click the link in profile for details)
Don’t forget to tell them which category you are entering: Youth under 12 years old, Amateur (not an artist by profession), or Professional (artist by profession).
Deadline to Enter: Sunday, September 13 11:59pm
3. They will post the entries onto the City of Meridian social media pages on Monday, September 14. Look up the City pages on Facebook or Instagram at meridianidaho
4. The artwork in each of the three categories that gets the most 'likes' on their Facebook and Instagram pages will be given The People's Choice Award with a $50 check!
5. meridianarts will select a first place prize for each of the three categories. The winners will be awarded $75 each!
