We kept driving past the hungry.horse.eatery on Overland - never quite understanding what this little eatery was all about. So we finally decided to check it out. The best way to describe it is delightfully random. The owner describes the menu as food truck with a nod to Asian cuisine. All in house made. What will you will find on their menu - Noddle Soup (we would describe it as a slightly Americanized Pho). Waffle pressed sandwiches. - They are like Panini‘s, but made with croissant dough pressed in a waffle iron. Kind of bizarre, but ridiculously good. You have your standard food truck American fair, with wings and chicken strips - served with seasoned fries. Rice bowls served with in-house made pickles and kimchi. They have a huge selection of Milk teas, flavored teas, Thai tea, smoothies, ice blended coffees. All with the option of regular Boba or popping Boba. Blended Horchata is awesome. Don’t forget about dessert. - Fresh pressed croissant waffle with ice cream, Nutella, and fresh fruit. - that alone might be worth the trip in.
