You guys!!!! "Meridian Art Week" is September 4th - 8th We've added the link in our profile for all the details and events. Chalk art competitions, exhibits, classes-  And of course that means it’s time for..... “MERIDIAN ART DROP!” Yay!!! For one week you can meander around Downtown Meridian and find pieces of art to take home and treasure. How to participate? Make a piece of art, (or more than one) attach the form that you can find on our link. Hide your art in the "drop zone" in Downtown Meridian during art week. (Basically between Storey Park and Cherry Lane) How fun is that??? Anyone can participate, the more the merrier. Get your family or friends together and have an art night. Have a “Paint Nite” painting that never quite fit in your home? Hide it! On the Art Drop form you can leave your Instagram handle, so who ever finds your piece can give you a shout out. This is such a fun event! In years past we have seen watercolors, painted rocks, photography, children’s art, sculpture, handmade Christmas ornaments, even poetry. We’ve spied little gifts from Etsy shops, some companies put together little treasures. (chickfilameridian always hides gift cards!) We recommend putting art in some kind of plastic bag or something to protect it from the elements. To make it even more fun, tag your pics with your art with hashtag #hellomeridian so we can all join in on the fun! When you find an art piece, make sure to share it on Instagram! Tag your artist friends so they know to participate!!! (We will be hiding at least 10 art pieces 😘) Get to creating Meridian!!!
