Hello Meridian! What’s going on this week? (Here’s a hint. Almost all of it is going down Thursday.) 🎈 2017 Spirit Of Boise Balloon Classic started today will continue every morning through Sunday, September 3rd. The balloons launch around 7:15am (weather dependent). Ann Morrison Park.  Friday is the “Nite Glow”! Come down to Ann Morrison Park starting at 6:00pm to enjoy music and food. Then around 8:00pm the field of inflated hot air balloons begins to amaze everyone and by 9:00pm the glow of the balloons is quite the experience. 💦 Thursday evening is the HURRICANE HARVEY BENEFIT CONCERT at roaringspringswaterparkidaho - From 6:30-9:30 Thursday, August 31st, enjoy full access to all Roaring Springs attractions and all the fun while listening to gawvi perform live music on the Wave Pool Stage! All proceeds from the show will be given to relief efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. $20 a ticket. 🎶 Thursday is the Gazebo Concert Series in Eagle at Heritage Park. 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM No Where Fast Band at 6:30 pm, Sweet Briar Band at 8:00 pm. Come down listen to some country music, look at some art, eat some food and hang out with friends. 🎸 Thursday is the Kleiner Park Live Concert Series. Free concert, Beer and Wine garden, Kids activities. 6pm at the Band Shell. Performing is the “Come Together Band” 🚦Thursday evening is the Community open house to discuss the road widening on Linder, Ustick to McMillan. Which is going be really great seeing as it has taken about three years to complete the nearby Meridian Rd and Ustick Rd. Super duper fun. 5:30 PM - 7 PM at meridianlibrary on Cherry. 
Friday is "First Friday" at boisecoop 7am to 10pm. Free live music, free wine testings and lots of food sampling. 🏟 Saturday is the first BSU home football game of the season! 1:45pm playing Troy. It’s supposed to be quite the game. 🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈 Now we've got to get back to work.
