WAFFLE ME UP GIVEAWAY!!! People, we are counting down to a three day weekend. That's cause for celebration. And for us, it was heading to downtown Boise for a little wafflemeupboise. What started as a Boise iconic food truck has now become one of the most popular downtown destinations in less than two weeks of opening their doors. Located right next to the capital building, it's the absolute perfect place to spend your morning or lunch roaming around our beautiful capital. And these waffles are not like anything you've ever had. They're handcrafted in their kitchen daily with local fresh GMO-free ingredients. They use a butter yeast risen dough made from scratch and real Belgian sugar pearls caramelize in their presses shipped in from Europe. They are called "Liège Waffles" and have a crunchy sweet exterior and a soft chewy center. Just the waffles alone are amazing, but then you have the most incredible topping options. You see here Peaches and Cream, and Waffle Me strawberry. The savory "BOB Deluxe" is served with melted Havarti cheese, market Friday egg, bacon, syrup, and basil. We're going to go ahead and say it, when someone comes to visit Boise, this is the meal you should be taking them to. We have a feeling that pretty soon Waffle Me Up will become synonymous with the Boise experience. Not to mention the staff is really cool and the ambience is top notch. Five stars from us.
