I am so honored for the opportunity to be honorary captain of Team USA Cycling. These men’s and women’s teams have to sacrifice time, energy and commitment to live out their dreams and those dreams are on hold in this devastating time in the world.  It is a painful choice to postpone the Olympics but it’s the right one and I look forward to a year from now where we can celebrate the joy of competition.  There is more to being a champion than meets the eye. How you live your life off the track or off of the bike is leadership, it’s overcoming obstacles and working with your team to keep your goal sustainable. Lets continue to support these remarkable athletes and the cycling community around them usacycling #ridetotokyo
