EASY LEMON BARS 🍋✨

The perfect recipe for beginner bakers or anyone with a few extra lemons lying around!! It’s delicious🤭

✨Ingredients
•1 cup graham cracker crumbs
•4 tbsp unsalted butter
•1/4 cup brown sugar
•2 large lemons
•2 cans condensed milk
•1 tsp vanilla extract
•1/2 tsp fine sea salt
•3 egg yolks

Preheat oven to 300F. In a medium bowl, add graham cracker crumbs, butter, and brown sugar; mix using a spatula. Line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper (skip if using a silicone one like me) and add the graham cracker crumbs. Using your hands or the back of the spoon, gently push down to create an even crust. Bake for 15 minutes and cool down.

Now, preheat oven to 350F. Juice and zest lemons; add to a large bowl. Followed by condensed milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt, and mix using a whisk. In a small bowl, whisk together egg yolks. Then, take the large bowl and slowly pour in egg yolks as you whisk the mixture together. Once everything is mixed in, pour the mixture into the cooled-down graham crust. Bake for 20 minutes until the bars are set (they shouldn’t darken in color). Cool down and then refrigerate for at least 6 hours, ideally overnight.

Remove from baking dish and cut into even squares. Dust with powdered sugar, and enjoy!

Shoutout to cravingsbychrissyteigen for sending their new bakeware :)
