God used Hope to transform the life of my brother, Gary. Gary grew up in small town in rural Iowa and didn’t attend church. However, when Gary came to town for Easter, he joined my family and me at Hope.⁣
⁣
When Gary got cancer and was no longer able to live on his own, he stayed with my family. One day I was sharing about the wonderful message I’d learned at church, and then God directed me to show Gary the recorded version of the message online. God touched Gary as he watched that service, and another, and another. God was using Hope Online to transform my brother. The next Sunday and every Sunday after, Gary watched the service live online. He sat peacefully, not bothered by pain, as God spoke to him through service after service.⁣
⁣
I remember one Sunday, Gary was getting ready and I had turned the service on and the pre-service music was playing. I told him that he didn’t have to hurry, it was only the music playing before church started. Gary responded, “But I like the music!” God filled my brother with joy as he listened to Hope’s worship.⁣
⁣
Gary loved the praise and worship, and he also liked Perry’s mustache! When Gary was living in Hospice and was no longer able to speak, I played Hope Online for him. When the worship started and Perry was playing, Gary put his finger and thumb to his lip and made a mustache gesture – Gary was communicating that Perry had cut his mustache!  God continued to speak to my brother through Hope’s praise and worship even when my brother was no longer able to speak himself.⁣

God used Hope to touch the heart of my brother. God found my brother, who was once lost, transformed him, and filled my brother with peace. I thank God for saving my brother through Hope Online.⁣
