A Single Dream is More Powerful Than A Thousand Realities

Natalia Hawthorn tore down the backstretch in hot pursuit of the Olympic Standard of 4:04.2. When the clock stopped, it read 4:04.20 exactly. She entered the 2021 season with a 4:13.65 best. The dream came true on a 400 meter oval surrounded by reality.
