One of the most intriguing plot lines is the inclusion of high school senior and Ron Warhurst pupil, Hobbs Kessler.

Already a known commodity on the national scene, Hobbs broke the indoor high school mile record previously held by Drew Hunter, running 3:57.66.

On Saturday he’ll use his blistering closing speed to go hunting for the Olympic Trials standard of 3:37.5. If he gets it, he’ll take alanwebb1’s high school 1500m record of 3:38.2 set 20 years ago along with it.
