The world champion stepped into the ring wearing the black and white reserved for title-bearers. On a calm night in the Willamette valley he rolled his shoulders and punched his fists high, piercing an outdoor track in his main event for the first time since securing the title on a hot Doha night last October. Following the rabbit through the first circuit in 50.8, DB rolled through two consecutive 26.5 200 meter splits to post a 1:43.84 season opener- easily a world lead in 2020.
