## Caption

What art project involves more than 1,400 students, parent volunteers, the entire visual arts department, a Fab Lab, an anniversary celebration, along with vivid imagination and implementation? Wingspan!

On Founders Day, every student decorated wooden feathers, each with a personal touch, using a palette of Latin blue hues. They did not know what would happen to the artwork, but they knew it would be exciting.
.
Then the magic began. Over the course of a day, the visual arts department carefully installed the piece. The result — perched on the third floor balcony of the Inlustrate Orbem Building — looks over the patio and the Beck Student Activities Center. By day, it is a masterpiece, enticing its audience to find something new in each detail. By night, looking in from the SAC, it is a spectacle to behold.
