A curation of images detailing the agricultural community, from the archives of Prairie View A&M University - one of the four recipients of the inaugural Getty Images Photo Archive Grants for HBCUs. ⁠
The “Historically Black Colleges & Universities Collection” will see thousands of analog images digitized, restored, and made accessible to all throughout 2022. ⁠
Awarded to PVAMU, Claflin University, North Carolina Central University and Jackson State University, the Grants were created to honor the vast history of HBCUs and their contribution to American history.⁠
